Programme said the steam parade was 12:30, the web site said it was 2:30, there was a sign at rally control saying it was 4:30 and it actually turned out to be 3:30 - standard Hollowell logic...

Hi

What engine is the first one you show?

Cheers

Dave

Robert The Bruce 6th July 2008 08:12 AM

Looks like a Mac to me, poss No. 682.

Cygnus X-1 6th July 2008 11:08 AM

Looks like the weather was fantastic unlike up here where I am.
I will check out Steam Scenes for the rest of the photos in a few days .
I have also noticed that some event web sites quote a figure for steam exhibits and the actual number was way lower .
It is disappointing when the numbers are down because I may choose one event instead of another purely based on the expected show content , especially when there is two or more events on the same weekend.

Yes it's McLaren 682, first time I had seen it since GDSF a few years ago.

Yea brilliant show again. Sunday turned out nice in the end, and was quite warm in the sunshine, and at least it was dry for packing away and loading up etc after a damp morning....
