Berwick St John Country Fair, Sept 15th & 16th
 

As usual an excellent event organised every other year by the local community. Friendly, relaxed with a traditional atmosphere - as one person said to me, "Like Stourpaine in its earliest days". Well done and thank you to Richard and the team! Looking forward to 2014!!!

Thanks for your 'thanks' Tim - especially as I did not post this photo - or the one with Percy and the Fowler! Apologies to you both! They were uploaded ready but I have never been good with numbers!!!!

I'll try and get round to sorting my photos tonight... didn't get back till nearly 10pm last night in the end!

That lady has been painting that picture since 2010, ive seen her working on it at gdsf too, did she finish it?

Probably spends all her time answering smart comments like 'you've painted the engine the wrong colour' etc

i'm fairly sure I've got a similar photo from 2010 with Charlie B in front of her... it's seriously impressive! not sure iof she finished, but this was on the sunday afternoon

Here's the lady in 2010 - seems to be the same picture, and yes, it was Charlie B - with Don Cully too!

She must be one of the most photographed lady artists around!

I see in the local rag that they raised £27,000 for the Hospital Stars appeal, good event & great fundraising, well done all.:)
