will be there all weekend with my Classic Car.
My 8yr old son has recently joined the Steam Apprentic Club, being extreemly enthusiastic on anything steam driven. We recently attended the SAC weekend at Old Warden and had a very enjoyable time.:D
We would love to join up with an engine(s) at Leighton Buzzard for him to help and learn more - he's more than willing to get dirty!!! - any offers???
We are contemplating getting a model engine (2" ish) but not really knowing much about them, anyone attending with one and willing to talk to us we would love to hear from you.
We are staying on site so any 'after hours' meets are OK
Thanks in advance
Dave (& Daniel)

Looking forward to my first proper rally of the season.
Will be there with my 4" Burrell. Always welcome young helpers, and will probably have a SAC member with me.

Will set up on the Friday night.

Leighton Buzzard bypass rally - Herts Steam Club Ltd

Sadly I have to let you know that owing to the waterlogged state of the field, and the poor weather forecast for the remainder of this week and the coming weekend, Herts Steam Club Ltd have been forced to cancel the above rally.

Committee members will attempt to contact as many exhibitors and traders as possible, but please pass this message on as appropriate.

Sandy Ross, on behalf of Herts Steam Club Ltd

Miniatures at NLSME Colney Heath instead of Leighton

As the Leighton Buzzard Rally is unfortunately cancelled, would participants with miniatures be interested in going to the North London Society of Model Engineers at Colney Heath for a mini rally, on the Sunday? The ground is free draining. PM me interested.

Tim,

YES I would, just enquired to Quainton and they have no room for any more. Pity about the bypass rally, would of been a good show once again.
