Just been speaking with a committee member who has confirmed that show field is looking good and the show is definitely on this weekend 7th & 8th July.
What’s so good about Duncombe Park is that it has side roads around the show field so the heavy boys (engines & lorries) can park on this.

Went yesterday and ground was muddy, but not as chewed up as expected. Only things round the ring yesterday were the tractors and the cars. We left at 4pm and it had dried out considerablly. The majority of the steamers are been kept on the permiter road, so that they can still move around etc. Car park was holding up well.

Just arrived home we managed to pull it off--weather held up quite well--a few engines didn't show up as you would expect but a lot did, including Wards freash out Sentinel Super and a portable which may never have been rallied before. Managed to get on and off the field just--Saturday run down to Helmsley was good--will post some photos tommorrow.
