Trevithick day, Dartford
 

Hi guys,

When is it this year? My diary says Saturday 12th May but is that right? It seems a little later than normal.

On the 12th & 13th May 2012 the Annual Trevithicks Industrial Dartford Celebration will take place.

It is our tribute to the great man this weekend in Camborne --- and Camborne is where the train don't stop on a thursday according to Jethro.

Good job your tribute is not on a Thursday then I guess! But I suppose you could always steal a bus!

Can anyone give details of the road loco with the living van, ie Maker and Number.

Its A Fowler Works No 12754 1912 A8 "NIGHTMARE".

And by all accounts caused a "nightmare" on Friday at the Dartford River Crossing (Bridge).

Well done to the owners for steaming her there.
