Astle Park shows
 

Does anyone know the dates of the Astle Park 1000 engine rally and the later main steam show for this year? Sorry if this has been posted already, but I have looked on the calendar and cant find it.

11-12 August 2012 This is Astle Park Traction Engine Rally.

It said 23rd and 24th June 2012 on the forms I sent back to enter the 1000 engine rally.

Matt there is also steam on at Astle Park 1000 Engine Rally 23-24 june 2012 if you want go !.

1000 engine is 23rd and 24th June and the traction engine rally is 11th12th August.

Might go to both Hedd given that hey are so close to home and we ar now sans transport. Not absolutely sure yet.

Think you may have to check with a certain Altrincham man regarding entry to the proper rally in August, there again, being a Mobberly lad, may help your cause, do you remember being filmed at Cheshire Steam Fair? and do you know Jean, one of the barmaids at The Railway?

James and I are booking in for both 1000 engine and Astle Park. Assuming we can get your engine sorted, do you want to come in with us? :D Have got your dads email, just up to my neck in this Northern Exhibition at the moment, will he be able to visit, if you cant?

I have that particular clip recorded on CD. It was shown to me for the first time at my 40th birthday. Now I know why everyone else ran off to the bear tent! Should I put it on you tube?

I'll be in touch about Astle this week now father is back from the US. Yes I know Jean but I now live on Knutsford. However I still take the nine up to the railway for a pint. Nobody can forget the onetime nutter with engines from over the road!
