I see that this one has the standard repairs to the roll head .
From the size of it I think that the lower plate on the front of the roll head may say PRAHA , indicating a sale through the Prague office , |
Yes I think D2s are gorgeous! I like the plates on the headstock as well.
Could the brown roller be from the same maker as the ploughing engines? The cylinder looks similar. |

The ploughing engine has interesting valve gear in an attempt to ge the valves parrallel with the bores.

Many valve gears were developed for locomotives with the valves above the bores , so they had quite a choice .
