Shawn's MoonRocket, Set Of Gallopers, Dodgems. Past years we've had the Wall of Death, Noah's Ark, Waltzer, Ferris wheel and then you got the classics for the kids like the Hook a Duck and a few others.

Hope this Helps

woody2 11th June 2011 10:18 AM

would be good to see the moonrocket out again

I do believe that the only rally the moonrocket does is this rally. Great ride too but go before the beer tent!

The moon rockets were not at Lincoln last year. The owner tried selling them last eyar but failed and from waht I understand they are too much work for him to have out anymore.

Lancashire Lad 26th July 2011 03:41 PM

Year before I meant! I forgot we had wall of death in the space last year. Be nice to see Howard & company again.

jameswaterfield 1st August 2011 06:10 PM

Booked in at Lincoln this year for the first time this year with our engine. A note received this week says no movements apart from to and from the show ring. A great pity I think as perhaps by luck we have been to rallies where if anything, movement is encouraged.

James

ps we shall still look forward to it but perhaps not quite as much as we were!

David Littleboy 1st August 2011 08:49 PM

The moonrocket doesnt travel anymore and Richard Millbands ark wont be there either as it was sold to the Flower of May caravan park in Scarborough so I imagine it will be Paul Hymans dodgems, Mike Rules gallopers and slip, Rob Selby's Ghost train and maybe rotor and some small stuff.

The steam engines, Minature & full size, usually have plenty of free space to move around in their respective areas. I wouldnt be suprised if you find that whn you get there, you will be alowed to drive around a bit.

coalshovle 2nd August 2011 08:26 PM

From what i have read on other posts you need to be on your peg by 10-30am.The only movementyour allowed is to the ring if you wish.

Slip won't be attending as it will be at Weston Super Mare. It has not been seen at Lincoln since 2008.

Has everyone got their stuff through yet? Ours hasn't come and just wondering if I need to chase for it.

jameswaterfield 6th August 2011 04:13 PM

Making it's debut at Lincoln this year is Garrett 32048 a former Joe Powell engine that hasn't seen a rally field in steam for over 50 years, the engine passed it's steam test on 25/7/2011.

Bob Cook has sent me the follow pictures taken of the engine whilst under restoration to post:

I am also told that a Marshall roller is making is debut at Lincoln having never attended a rally before. Should be a Lincoln to remember.

flyboy 12th August 2011 07:53 PM

Think theres going to be a Babcock And Wilcox roller that hasn`t been out for a while as well.

iain 13th August 2011 07:45 AM

The Marshall roller rumour is true. It may well be joining us on the run up to the showground on Friday. That will make 3 of us going up together under our own steam. Should be a nice run of about 13miles.

Are those the "Joe Powell" wheels from the workshop on the back? I seem to remember the wheels on the engine as sold had the strakes removed and rubbers put on that did not look quite right.

Jim Smith is on his way to the Showground now with Pride of Wales, and so is Russ Inman with Pentland Queen.
