that ransomes of james hervey-bathurst's was amazing, apparently ex irish flour mill, been there all its life since 190? never turned a wheel! the gears and wheels were like new and it smelt of bread!. if my numbers came up..........

Yes here we go again. It's funny how some people cannot leave the poor converts alone. It is not the Shroller's fault that some preservationists prefer a SRL to a roller. If I had an engine it would be either a roller or a Agricultural engine and it would look as if it came straight from work -- that is oily clean, not highly polished. But that is probably the lazy streak in me!

Roy,
Great photos. Can anyone help with the ID of the oldish Fowler TE in use on the sawmill. As far as I could see it carried no reg or worksplate.
