Duncombe Park Rally

First class rally with a very good selection of engines a credit to all concerned it was over a 400 mile round trip for me for but well worthwhile.

Cygnus X-1 4th July 2010 07:47 PM

Agreed , nice setting for a rally and fine exhibits to match .
I took a stack of photo's and the haulage pen is a really good addition.
I didn't see the McLaren road loco' belonging to the club chairman that is a work in progress , hope it's out in the near future .

Had a nice day out with the family on Saturday. There was a great engine line up. It was nice to see so many engines from north of the border. The two Jamies were doing their best to wear The Scout out. They must have travelled the equivalent of roading it from Potto pulling the trailer around. It was also good to see Mr. Collins sporting the latest in "on engine" sound systems.

Our first time at this rally, must say I did enjoy it.It was much larger than what I thought it would have been.

They were having problems getting the water pump to work. thought it had some air in the system, guess tpping it over to that side would help a bit ??

chief polisher 8th July 2010 07:05 PM

buggeroff 9th July 2010 07:03 PM

Chris.

chaffcutter 9th July 2010 08:06 PM

Perhaps the addition of a set of governors might help solve the problem.

BLACKTOP 9th July 2010 09:23 PM

buggeroff 10th July 2010 02:48 PM

Suppose its only what you get when you try and make something that was into something it was never supposed to be.
