I have heard on the grape vine that a number of engines are roading there on friday too, i believe there is a showmans and a wagon coming from scarborough, there could be a couple coming from potto on the road, and there is 3 full size and 3 half size heading there from thirsk.

Always a good rally, just hope the weathers right.

Hi everyone may be visiting saturday anyone know if any turn offs from A1 affected by road works.
Will be travelling south from Durham, normally take 3rd turn off for thirsk from A1 then via thirsk industrial estate and up sutton bank to helmsley.

Hi, Turn off on A1 to A168 to Thirsk is open, just watch it because there is no slip road.

Me and my bro are going. hope the weather is good. and the brekky and the baked tatties from spudman. lol.

Yes thats right--Lightning II and Scout from Potto and Foden wagon and Excelsior[ex Island Chief] from Scarbro. way. hope to get my portable over on Thursday. Should be a great weekend plenty to see plus entertainment Fri and Sat. evenings. good working area and heavy haulage demos.

Just checked the weather and its wall to wall sun for the weekend so here's to a great weekend as will be taking the Fordson up.

Also looking forward to some roasties out of the smoke box of "Queen of Great Britain" you cannot beat them.

Sounds like the show is coming together now and looking at the engines, wagons, tractors booked in should be another good show in such a beautiful setting.

Pleased the beer tent is all set-up will need a cool beer or 2 by the time we get up there tomorrow night.

Been today all coming togeather nicely, my robey is now on site, caught a sight of what used to be poor old UNDAUNTED.Deffinately liked it better a roller !!
