I like this type of photo too, so thanks for posting. As a bye the bye, looking at the rear arche on the DAF with the Sentinel on, it looks, in the pic at least, a little overweight !! Hope it was just to do with angle of the wagon, or suchlike.

Probably has form of air / hydraulic suspension for lowering height of deck when loading / unloading.

That is a nice load for that four wheeler , and nicely distributed . It looks overweight at the back because you cannot see the weight of that big boiler up front .

Is it true that Vern wants it as a recovery vehicle ?

dont worry us in the trucking industry all know that dafs have soft a**es nowt to worry about just pump air bags up a bit "or buy a scania"

I did think after I posted, that it may just need bringing back up on the air, lowered to help the loading angle. Can't see the Sentinel being to heavy for it really.

my scania 8 legger has a volumetric mixer on its weighing in at +40 tons its 3 years old and still on original springs nothing else compairs scania all the way
