Threaded steel bar wanted
 
Can anyone help me please?
I am looking for approx 12 inches of 3/8ths inch Whitworth threaded steel bar. Happy to pay the going price.
Needed for cutting into short pieces for attatching finials to banner poles to our old Durham Mining banners
Everyone around here have gone metric - Bloody Europeans!!!

Maybe but the statement would be lost on our banner group leaders, many of whom are ex or retired colliery engineers. They call themselves Durham Mechanics, bur we know them as the "Heavy Hammer Brigade" i.e blacksmiths, cagesmiths and the like
