It has. In storage there awaiting new owner sorting accomodation on one side of the atlantic or the other. Same goes for the Aveling tractor next to it which was bought by the same chap.

Yes , I have a Marshall wheel just like that , but the pair to it is much more evenly worn . I would be interested to see the wheel on the other side of that Marshall .

i've only just heard of Prestons since joing this forum - i presume now it is Prestons in Kent and nothing to do with RIchard Preston of Prestons of Potto/Lighting II fame.

great set of photos - i really hope Dorset do a steam wagon special again.

It is Preston Services, after the place in kent where it is located, Preston next Wingham, near Canterbury in Kent.

So as you rightly say not Prestons of Potto (Or Prestons Garage in Writtle!)

Hope that clears it up hehe
