All I will say is that it was a Basil creation and that I had to borrow a welder .....

Mind you, his track record with Penny Farthings is not that good!! ;)

LOL, he snapped the frame clean in two. Then had v8Spiders 'man' welded it back together the wrong way round!

It was nearly the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Hmmm, I am not liking the idea of penny lessons based on all of the above, she is quite a fine specimen, built for lightness and racing!! She also has the equivlant of a 56/58" wheel, due to the saddle I use.

I will get the Mk1 out one day for everyone to have a go, that is easier to repair, should there be an "accident".
