Jim (00000)

It is called GREAT DORSET for a very good reason and this year it lived up to it`s name, having said that, last year with fewer people was easier to get around but the Rally costs so much to stage and beyond being manned by volunteers that trade space has to be sold to capacity and clashing with Beaulieu Auto Jumble that was a problem and of course maximum punters as possible through the pay gate we would hope that the Rally continues for many years to come.

Yes it's his engine. And I prosume the family'. When I heard it was definatly there, I went over for a look over the hegh to have a good look. Fair play to Chris and the family, it looked great. A credit to you all. It's took you time and effort but the results are fantastic.

I keep saying it but well done Chris/Laura looks like a nice engine and a good job.

Hi all
thank for the kind words

yes it its Laura and mine's engine, (not the family's!!)

me and Laura did 95% of the work our self but with out the help of my mum and dad and Laura's mum and dad and a load of good friends we would not have made Dorset,
when we started to run out of time I was touched by the friends and family who dropped what they were meant to be doing to help uses make it to Dorset,

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVER ONE THAT HELPED GET THE ENGINE TO DORSET

a big thank you to Matt Farwell for picking up the engine with your low loader, and for the tow with the tractor

its been a very long 7 years and this last year has been even longer! I never what to eat a redly meal in the workshop agen!
we got a list of small snagging jobs to do this winter and we will finish the engine over the next year or so!

thanks

Chris
