Jim, it is so simple :- i as the named organiser of said show ( harvest home ) i activly encouraged persons to travel over a 10 ton axiel weight limet bridge, knowing that they were very much over the stated weight. photo's of some of these engines were sent to the police who then contacted me, and gave me a friendly warning !!! The same persons i guess reported a couple of vintage tractors on the way to the event, the two young boys ended up in court !!! By the way the youngsters got away with all charges !!!

So, even tho the event was going from strength to strength, why would i want to bother again ? All i hope is that the person or person's who did the reporting are happy !!!

Steve.

The real losers in all this are the charities the event supported. Let's just hope the detractors are never in need of the charities they have let down.
