Personally I think this will be better for all. I for one like seeing them together.
We will also have a couple of living vans close by in case a kettle needs putting on.

whats this in case a kettle needs putting on anybody would think all we do is drink tea ( not arf ) lol

Why just stop at Tea?

A reminder for the feint hearted.

There is no such thing as the wrong sort of weather.
Just the wrong sort of clothing.

Are the miniatures in the usual Custom House Lawn location?

To answer my own question the miniature are in a different location to last year

Quite sensibly the miniatures are back along side the biguns in the main gravel area near the visitor entrance

I shall be at the other end of the dockyard with the steam tug TID164 - why not pay us a visit and see a proper steam engine

Utter ****ers. Been every year since 2005 come wind, rain, snow and sunstroke. No moving, no cars or trailers and 18 quid if you want to bring 'those' children in. Well you can f*ck right off!

Oh and I apologise to the moderators / owner of the board for my terse comments. Been chatting to some canterbury / maidstone club road steam people all of who would like to organise an Easter steam up in Kent. Anyone else interested in joining?

Radhew 31st March 2013 06:32 PM

... should have gone to Bill Best's at BWLR. Much nicer people, still ruddy cold though and only railway stuff alight today.

Dave

Yeah I will do in future. Just had an email from the Dockyard saying s*d off basically!

Paul30013 31st March 2013 07:44 PM

That doesn't sound good! I'd be up for something, any ideas for a venue though? Kent, the new Dorset at Easter????

Paul.
