The man's name was actually Dennis Waters who at that time owned Marshall S type roller Anne. He used to organise a steam party at the Greyhound pub next to the canal in Findern. O happy days:) Anyone know what's happened to Marshall roller 'Anne'. Can't remember the works number. Is it still at Klondyke? |

Have you any more photos of this do Bozi? The roller next to Anne is W&S Caroline, when Alfie Baker owned it.

Dose anybody know what fleet number and what type of owners the Admiral had?

Intestingly "The Admiral" as it is known to most people at the club came out of Burrells works with the name "Admiral Togo" It wasnt untill the second world war when Japan lost respect from the British that its name was then changed to "The Admiral" This is how it was when it entered preservation but had its original name returned when reposessed by the club, Even now tho it is nearly always referred to with its abreviated name.
