Regarding the road run, I heard it might be cancelled - or rather banned by the local contabulary. Is this rumour substantiated by regulars to Pickering.
I intend to be there this year for the first time, it normally clashes with our summer holidays. |
As long as the vehicle is , in the opinion of the PC, road legal and driven in a correct manner and all passengers complying his interpretation of the law, a road run canot be stoppped or banned. For the last 2 yrs the police have been very firm and penantic on their interpetation of the law.Previous years they would advise and turn a blind eye, maybe the advice fell on deaf ears?

Have been attending Pickering for quite a few years now.
Police always been ok about road runs in my opinion friday run to Thornton-le-dale well worth a look. |
