Crawfords in Frithville have a 'Sun' tractor. Again the only one.

Same boiler and engine, one was designed for agricultural use. The other haulage. Similar but different.

Johns Agritractor is ace. I believe I am correct in saying it was driven to the show from Johns home. 30odd? miles.

Does that make it a conversion ?

We drove up on Sunday last, 26 miles in two hours with a water stop halfway. Excellent trip, using the new braked water cart for the first time. The Foden's brakes are nothing special and the engine does not provide any compression braking so the extra trailer brakes were very welcome. I have done some work on balancing the engine with a lead weight fixed on the inner flange of the flywheel rim. This has allowed us to run the crank up a little faster but it can improved further I think. The few other teething troubles are getting sorted one by one. We plan to travel home this coming Sunday leaving the showground about 11 am.
