This seems like it will be a very good run, for those unable to attend, i plan to video as much of the run as possible depending on the weather.

I was in Liskeard earlier and I manage to catch up with 15529 on the road. They had made some great progress through some of the narrow and steep lanes out of Lostwithiel but a bearing problem had halted progress, all sorted soon I hope:

I hadn't realised you had caught up with us David, I had gone for the low loader at this point leaving Jim and Kielen to fight the traffic. We had managed to run the right hand crank bearing hot which we slackened off and this in turn set the HP big end off because the crank was moving slightly to and fro. This was all when we were climbing up out of Lostwithiel towards Sweetshouse up a fairly steep, narrow and very busy lane. To say things were a bit fraught would be an under statement! We eventually managed to get everything moving again after a couple of hours and then just as we were starting down the hill away from Sweetshouse she spat all the temporary big end shims out at which point we decided to call it a day. A very big thank you to the Daniel Brothers for the loan of their low loader, she is now safely at Stithians awaiting next weekends frivolities.
