St. Albans steam and country show this weekend
 

The weather was dry today and the forecast is fine until the end of the weekend. At least ten engines on the field so far, and have all reached their peg unassisted. We are looking forward to a memorable 50th anniversary event!

Any road runs due on Saturday evening this year ?

There is a good run to The Plough at Tyttenhanger on the Saturday night. The field is filling up well and drying out nicely.

Just back from my first visit, thanks to all the organizers, good show good layout, very enjoyable.

Sorry that the full size steam was restricted to staying at its peg and could not move around or have a ring parade due to the soft ground.

Thanks for your comments, the weather forecast looks great for Sunday so hopefully the ground conditions will improve further tomorrow. After fifty years, it is great to be able to welcome both engines and members of their owners family who presented them at our first rally. We like continuity and history!
