Here’s a selection of my photos including more of the DG8, in my opinion this is the most handsome waggon going.

The Allchin Roller and crew had an absolutely fantastic time at Beamish this year. It did the Roller the world of good trundling around the roadways, also up and down those hills to the colliery, the wagonway and yes we did get next to the DG8 Tarmac Lorry which did look superb, especially in the sunshine.

4 days at Beamish
Had a fantastic time at Beamish this year. Thanks to the organizers for inviting the Allchin Roller and her crew. If you have never been you do not know what you are missing. Most people in period dress, old shops, bakery, sweet shop, farm, colliery and the Inn etc. The Roller had a whale of a time chugging up and down the hills around the roadway. Absolutely brilliant Paul, Paul, Bob and Colin. Thanks again
