Universal Steam (James Cummins) work in corporation with HSS and we are already looking at extending the range of Blowdown Valves that we offer together with him. We will produce the pattern and have these on offer. If interested parties care to contact me, when we have costed this item together with James we will publish a cost. A Marshall Blowdown Valve, will be in our new catalogue, due out early next year.

Just an update. The patterns for the Marshall Blowdown valve are nearly complete and we hope to have samples manufactured and for sale before the end of the year, certainly over the winter. I will publish on here when we have something to show off.

Just to report back. We are about to order castings from the Foundry for the Standard Marshall Blowdown Valve. The finished product will include the correct pattern steel handle. The flange will come undrilled. As all our blowdown valves they come with material and hydraulic test certificate.

There maybe some saving in the overall price based on savings made on machining time and set up.

This blowdown valve involves more work than any of our current ones we have available, so we expect them to sell for around £625 + VAT each, but will pass on any savings we can from the initial batch.

If anyone is interested, please contact me via PM or call on 07785 258169

Very good Stuart, that looks to be a first class job.

Added another photo to illustrate the size of the valve. It's impressive!
