I'm saying to Steve "you've got a really good event going. Please keep it as it is, don't change it".

I would say the same thing to Tony Brooks, Martin Oliver, Paul Worbey or Matt Shipton.

Stef.

Stef, trust me this will never change as its a weekend for us !!!

Sorry to hear that Charlie will not be at the event and I hope that he makes a speedy recovery from whatever he is having done in hospital. I am pleased to hear that Steve Hawkins will be rolling a new road surface after last years weather it probably needs it. Providing that I can borrow a car I will be there.

I have no problem, and I apologise for misinterpreting your comment. It was easily read as a follow-up to all the negative comments about the WESES event and their change of name.....

Good news, all the wheat for threshing was cut yesterday with no problems, and is now in dry storage.

A quick reminder to those in the West Country this coming Saturday and Sunday.

"Harvest Home",near St Colomb (not far from Newquay), Cornwall.

A lovely event. No market traders. No monster trucks. More like "How T'wer
Done in Granfers Day".

Well worth a visit.

Stef.

Looking like 10 engines for sure, we will have 2 threshing machines belted up, 2 balers belted up, rack bench belted, and of course the rollers working, "The Gladiator" will be driving lights and the organ will be playing. The tractor boys will be having fun in the ploughing field, along with a single horse training with a set of harrows.
Saturday evening brings the well known "Four Lanes" male voice choir plus support in concert.
All welcome, bring your old gear and have a go with us, got plenty of pitch forks !!!!

Steve.
