I was wondering what it meant when I was stood at the side of it. All makes sense now, thanks.
It was nice to see quite a big percentage of the engines in their works colours, especially the Fowlers.

That burrell K5, i get the impression that is was designed as a 'small' ploughing engine, hence the extension to move the axel forward and make room for the drum. Is this something like or am i miles off?

calm down sam lol. how can it be an insult when ur sig is states " BURRELLS FOREVER" ! lol
had the pleasure of driving this engine on a number of occasions tis a loverly thing reli and a credit to Mr Goodwill and crew. hopefully have they will have her sister engine up and running sometimes soon. Nostall was a great event this year a good selection of engines including Princess Mary in her usual splendor ;-) notable events include mr pentland queen pulling all the air cables off the wagon (oops) and the road runs to the pub behind my house. roll on next year.
