Ok thanks, ideally I need photos of the GMT tractor as I'm building a half-sze one and need some reference photos.

Dave

As James has pointed out it is the 21st Anniversary of the Key family involvement with the event.

I can confirm there are not any Gold Medal tractors entered this year

This coming weekend

We're making our first visit to Strumpshaw, also planning several steam-related activities while we're in the area.

If Strumpshaw is half as good as Old Warden, it'll be worth the long journey.

Stef.

Stefan. I think you will find it is always plenty of engines in all sizes. Have been going regularly for many years now.

The Key family were 'involved' in every rally at Strumpshaw, Wesley Key & Ken Frost amongst others on the Norfolk club committee founded the event.
See you at the weekend :)

Which if course moved to Strumpshaw Hall Park in 1968 at the kind Invitation of the Late Wesley Key when the Norfolk Steam Engine Club lost its then event venue at Woodton, near Bungay. There are still serveral engines and familys attending Strumpshaw who have been going since it moved there in 1968 or its preceding event at Woodton. I cant remember what year the Woodton event started but I am sure some one will correct us.

I hope some one has ordered and booked the sunshine :D

We'll be there with the Burrell, d.v., having had the hydraulic test and steam test yesterday - thanks to Norfolk & Suffolk Steam Engine Club friends for their help. Painting may have to wait if its wet tomorrow.

I'm surprised that there hasn't been an up-date, but I attended yesterday and loved it.

The effort some folks put in is amazing, well done.

Well worth a visit.
