Route?

Hoping to go but don't know the area. Have checked on Google, is the route from Stotfold to Arlesey via Church End and back the same way? Are there any hills or other good spots for video on the route?

Colin

The route starts at Saunders Yard in Arlesey Road Stotfold, just past the "Fox and Duck" Pub. It will turn left out of the yard, and past the "Fox and Duck", crossing the A507 and onto Stotfold Road, down House Lane and into the High Street, stopping at "The White Horse". From there the run will carry on through Arlesey along the high street which turns into Hitchin Road by the Football Club. Turning left up Arlesey New Road which is a long incline, and about the only one all day, then left into Stotfold Road again (a different Stotfold Road! Along here until the A507 is crossed again and back into Stotfold, from there engines will stop at a variety of pubs around the village, ending up back at the Fox and Duck later in the afternoon.
