I thoroughly enjoyed this show - I went on sunday. There was a huige amount to see both in the ring and the working demonstrations - particularly the ploughing. I rarely go to shows as I feel my time is better spernt on my own engine, but I will certainly make the exception for Much Marcle in 2011!
The show appeared to be very well organised/run and yet it wasn't 'clinical' - engines were allowed to move around the site and they were accessable to the public. The same was true for all classes of exhibits Well done to the organisers and exhibitors. Regards Carl. |
I meant to add:
Lord Lascelles should have a 'health warning' - that engine is so quiet - no gear noise, rattles, squeaks - nothing! Spider looked superb! Cheers Carl. |
I had a very enjoyable weekend.
Thanks to Richard and Gareth for a well run, laid back show. Hopefully all the effort was worth it. Hope to be back next year. |
I must add my thanks to Richard and Gareth and all the other stewards for making us feel so welcome.
It was the first time that I had taken Oriana to the rally and I have to say it was one of the best I have been to. Very relaxed, thank you again. Bill |

Sadly I didn't take a picture of Matt on a Burrell either. I feared the bright orange wheels would damage the lense in the camera.
Its the second time the Marshall had been to Marcle, having been exibited partly restored in the 1990's. We too had a super weekend, a nice run over from Bromyard on the Friday, an then a cracking weekend, it is such a friendly rally with lots of atmosphere. Then a super run to the Eldersfield triangle on the sunday night. Its just like being at home in North Wales with all those hills. Thanks to all involved, particularly the Hall family for making us so welcome. |
My Cheif Engineer (JAMES) and I had a great time on the engines first time out after total rebuild and no problems to talk about. Thanks to Richard & Gareth for a great time with such a nice and friendly atmosphere

I would like to echo the thanks on here.
What more can I say - superb chaps, thanks. PS - I have a photo of Mr Shipton on a Burrell - what's it worth NOT to post it!! ;) |
