Its a great rally just a shame there is no where to use your exhibits and show the public what they can do a play pen would be a great feature for this event to provide, we exhibitors spend a lot of time and a great deal of money keeping our exhibits in good working order, some of us do like to use them and not just sit on a peg waiting for a ring event to be able to move around the site, what a shame the option of a play pen is not available, in this day of the dreaded health and safety this surly is a must for such great events to move into the future, I remember hollowell from 6 or 7 yrs ago as a steam exhibitor this yr went as a scammell exhibitor very frustrated at not being allowed to move even to the beer tent if its good enough for steam then why not other vehicles. Please remember organisers we actually spend a fair bit for maintenance and up keep of such vehicles and we pay to come to the events we don't get appearance money to attend an would like to use them just as much as any steam owner

Had a great weekend with the 3" Burrell in the miniatures section, although I felt that the change in location of this section meant we were hidden behind the trade stands.
At least we could move around, albeit the very crowded 'roadways' - at least there was no shortage of Joe Public to support this event, and as usual the coal supplied was smokey house coal (but used my stash of Mr Holmes' finest most of the weekend!).
Good weather helped and generally well organised too.
