Some pics from earlier on Facebook, there appears to be only one engine on site.

i was going to take my roller over but saw the conditions in the field on Friday and new it was not a great idea to travel over just to get stuck in the mud.
went and supported the rally this morning. the sun came out just as i left at lunch time lots of people still coming through the gate. i hope they get a good turnout on Sunday. i'm now driving roller from St Columb to Blackwater on Sunday getting closer to Camborne for Trevithick Day at the end of the month

I was intending to attend and my grandson and myself were looking forward to the event. As it was we saw the mud warnings on TT and decided to stay at home as it is a round trip over 100 miles for us and being disabled I certainly would not have been able to get around the rally field in those conditions - it reminded me of Boconnoc in 2010. I feel sorry for the organisers as being on a rally organising committee in the past, I know how much hard work goes into organising such an event.
let's hope that the weather will be kinder next year. |
