Default The Three Greyhounds Pictures

What a great day. We arrived early to see a few fine minature engines which is all we expected but as the day developed, more and more engines kept turning up. When we left, we counted 11 big ones and 9 little ones. There were traction engines, rollers, ploughers, stationaries, minatures, tractors, cars, landrovers, and best of all, an S20 Foden tractor. One engine, I had never seen before. We met friends and friends of friends. The atmosphere was great, I only wish I could have been at the pub tonight, I bet they are having a ball. There were plenty of proper photographers there so hopefully there will be some good photos and reports in the magazines next month. A credit to all involved but I'll bet it didn't take much organising.

Great set of photos David - many thanks for posting them. Looks a really enjoyable event. Lovely to see "Rosetta" out and about again, an engine I remember well from my childhood but haven't seen in 25 years.

Lovely pics David. The little McLaren looks great with the roof off, just as I remember her.

I trust you class yourself among the 'proper photographers', David. A lovely set of photographs, well composed and well executed, thankyou for posting them.

I don't class myself as a 'proper' photographer when you see the results in OG or VS. I am generally happy with the composition but if I could afford OEM lenses, then I could get the images a bit crisper. (Afford means convincing my wife that £1000 spent on one lens is an essential purchase). Still it's a hobby and if you are happy, then I am happy. Thanks.
