Hi,
i'm looking for recommendations for suppliers of either 1" or 1 1/4" angled globe valves ideally PN32 rated, nice looking ones to go on a loco at work.

Do a Google on Crane bronze globe and angle valves . A set of five choices will come up . For each of them click on dimensions and details , and go from there .

Have you tried Everyvalve in Potters Bar. The website and catalog looks like a 5 years old made it but give them a call they are quite helpful.

I buy quite a few things from the States - not a problem. Just remember that you may get charged in the UK for import duty and VAT. I find the American companies very helpful and easy to deal with.

What is the Crane part number of the valve you are after?

Cheers carl.

Kev , do a wider google search , inserting UK in your search . There are several makers and suppliers . It may be worth finding a promising supplier and telephoning their technical dept . Beware American pipe threads .
