Mungo

Sorry to say very little information in the programme on any of the exhibits so can only tell you that it is owned by David Rowlands, Penrith.

Regards

Arthur

GNS used to build the 3/4'' Tasker until they closed, now it's a company called Dream Machines but it could of been a self build

Yes I think I saw it at Llandudno and spoke to the owner. He claimed it was a 7" Scale with a number of upgrades including a 4 gear box off some car. He advised it had other parts of a car transplanted into it (not the Dif though). It was built for him and he owns some sort of haulage business. I looked but could not see the gear box he referred to and the thought crossed my mind he was playing with me believing I knew nothing about Model Steam Wagons. In fact I'm building a 6" Clayton Under Steam Wagon and currently researching different ideas for the flat bed construction.

the Tasker is a GNS one.

I believe the Atkinson uses an engine from a car as the main cylinders among other bits.
