Default Border City Rally

Some more pics to follow from my first visit to this growing show. Really nice location, superb atmosphere, and from my point of view, deserves to grow,

First - the two debutantes!

Down from Aberdeen, I'd not seen Finella before, except in photos

Some pictures from Saturday pm, during & between the showers. Interesting to see a couple of new build Foster tractors.

must have been close by for the marshall during the footplate rides, stunning weather post 2pm, The Foster and Marshall portable stole the show.

Great spot, but access a bit haphazard

The last time I saw Finella was I think 2004 , on the back of a low loader at Pickering looking quite different .
Great looking engine .

That must have been when her Boiler was heading down to Macewan's to get the new fire box fitted! I must admit Finella is one of my favorite engines! I think she's only ever had two owners! Having been owned by my good friends the Barrack Family since the forties!

Steven,

It would be good to see the engine at one of the shows in the North of England some time , maybe Duncombe Park or Pickering.
