Default Carrington 2011

Overcast day but dry on Sunday and blustery wind .
The steam parade was well organised having the exhibits enter the arena do one lap and then exit through the middle of the field and out the opposite gate , always able to see things moving rather than filling the field and blocking the view as the numbers increase as they line up

There are some photo's in the Picture Album section

Everyone should be able to see those photos, theres some of the the 2 Robeys about half way through - along with my other photos from Belvoir, Carrington and Strumpshaw.

Hope they're ok

Having travelled across the country to visit a couple of events we were slightly put of by the rain on monday when we were going to visit Carrington. But we decided to go ahead and we well rewarded by a fine selection of engines, most of which I haven't seen before in the flesh. It seemed a well organised event and the rain certainly didn't put a stop to things. My camera died early in the day, so I had to rely on the mobile camera, so sorry for the poor quality!
