Here is the Leeds Museums' Fowler running for the first time in many years. It will be at Crockey Hill in the hands of custodian Tim Longfoot - see the news story in this month's Old Glory.

Hands On, Crockey Hill - Opportunities to take the controls of a ploughing engine, operate the winding gear and steer a plough, cultivator or harrows will be available at the York event. All activities will be under direct supervision of an experienced steam ploughman. To provide flexibility, there will be morning and afternoon sessions of 3 hours duration over three days - 9th, 10th & 11th September. Bookings can be made for a session, a full day or all three days - but have to be made and paid for in advance.
