Default Tinkers Park - This Weekend

Tinkers Park Rally takes place this weekend - 30th/31st May at Hadlow Down just short of the eastern end of the A272. Around 50 road engines are expected plus one on the railway and a steam launch so will be one of the few events where you can see three modes of steam transport - anyone got a steam plane to make it four!

We're attending for the first time. Roading down early Saturday morning. Still trying to work out the fastest / flatest route from Capel.

Weather report is good for the whole weekend.

Really looking forward to it.

I'm sure I'll see a few of you there.

Default tinkers park

roaded up there on monday from laughton with Ellen, lovely run apart from the thunder, lightning & rain ! ! Several engines already on site, many more roading in tomorrow, should be a cracking weekend if the weather holds, still good if it doesn't ! ! Cheers, Ian

Default Brilliant

Brilliant event.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Brilliant weather. Plenty of people there. Just one brilliant event.
Good food and drink, as usual, although there must have been one hell of a party Saturday night as beer tent did not open till 11.30 instead of normal 11. Said they had to recover. Can't blame them. Roll on next year. p
