Default Steam & Transport Chatham 2012

Had a rather wet day yesterday, this was also shown in the poor number of exhibits. Here are the steam exhibits present. There certainly wasn't as many as on my last visit in 2006 when there was at least 19 engine. Enjoy.

Sunday was a better day weather wise, had a good day, see some faces and had a mardle. The paintings in the art exhibition (railway) were extremley good, totally mind blowing in a few cases, and I'm not an arty person really. The 'Steam punk' people was not a thing I'd seen much of before, and have to say i'm having trouble getting my head around it, but each to there own ! i think the show has abit of something for everybody, which i guess is good to bring the crowds in on a Bank holiday weekend.

we went and had a look on the Monday. a great site, marred by the distinct lack of exhibits, and poor weather. after all the hype regarding the railway locos, i expected to see more action. Shame, as it could have been so much better.
