Default Flywheel for a Vicker Vigor

Sorry not steam.

We are looking for a replament friction plate to fit in the flywheel on our Vickers Vigor bulldozer.

It has a C6-SFL Rolls Royce engine.

We are in the process of changing the clutch and this plate has some very nasty heat cracks.

Any help would be apreciated.

Many thanks

David

Default Clutch

Try Stephen Robson at the Chain Bridge Hony Farm 01289 386362 . They have a Vickers crawler and may have some spares.
Their NCK Rapier face shovel features in Old Glory this month.

Regards Charlie

David,
The Rolls C6 was a very popular engine, it was used in a derated version in the International BTD20 amongst others. I well remeber that there were scrap Vigors at Nelson Greens airfield. Talk to John Garman, some years ago we took a Vickers crawler to the County of Salop rally, it came off a tip near Shobdon and I am sure the owner had another one under the hedge at home for spares. The other person to talk to would be Bob Davies at Astwood Bank
