Default Chaff Cutter Bits / info

We are now starting to look at doing up our old chaff cutter that has been sitting in the shed for nearly as long as we've had the RS&J. It needs some new sections of the feed belt / chain. Has anyone got any?

Also, does anyone have any idea as to how old it may be? Its a type 6L, number 4608.

Any info / spares etc. would be apprechiated.

Stu

stu,
Have a word with your friendly boiler inspector, i think he has a brand new set of blades for a maynard in the shed, he asked me what the hell to do with them the other month and i said leave them there, someone may want them!!! is it an iron frame or wood?

Stu,

I think its a bit of both! Steel channel chassis, with some steel and some timber upright supports.

Hows the new job going?
