I contacted them through Facebook, they asked for my address and sent entry form for Banbury rally @ Bloxham.

Steve, that's the spin off rally run by Nick & Joel which does not even show any dates.
Also doing a Google for Banbury Steam Society brings up just the above rally.

I took the 1/2 scale last year and thought it one of the better rallies.

Smile Banbury Rally is back for 2015

Hi,

Not sure you've had a response from the promoter, but Banbury Rally will be going ahead this year.

The festival has previously been promoted by an external colleague and has now been taken over by the sole owner and co-organiser for this year's event - back to it's roots!

So the event can really get back on its feet, the organisers are pushing customers to purchase their tickets online as this will give them an idea on how many people will be attending and give flexibility on marketing and growth.

For tickets, please click this link
http://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/ti...iontalk2010515

Any questions, email me on kerry.newell@theticketsellers.co.uk or call 0121 472 6688

Thanks!

On their website, the steam section leader is marked up as 'Vacant'... Not a good sign.

I'm not connected in any way to the show/society or whatever, just that I spent some splendid weekends there in the past.

Looking at the various links etc as posted below, its not very clear whats going on.

We have www.http://banbury-rally.co.uk/ which seems to be the Society run, which is what the show I used to attend was run by. The post by 'Kerry' on http://www.theticketsellers.co.uk/ti...iontalk2010515. refers to the Society, yet links to the following page www.http://banburyrally.com/, which is different, and seemingly not the society page.

Very odd.

Looks fairly clear on closer inspection

.co.uk is the real McCoy and .com doesn't appear to be up and running as yet

Then perhaps it would be useful if 'Kerry' were to confirm that the tickets she sells are for the event advertised by the Society?.

Just looking at the prices quoted on both sites, they are not consistent.
