Is the engine & boiler similar to Foden undertype wagon ?

Engine is same as speed wagons i think, or near as dam it, boiler is very closr to a speed wagon too.

The boiler doesnt have the firing chute of the wagons. Which was one of their faults. Otherwise yes.

The engine is simpler, in that it has no gearbox. So a different case. Lots of detail diferences. But essentially the same engine.

Yes the firing chute in the crown is missing in comparrison to the speeds, of course in the speeds the boiler is mounted pointing backwards, so the fire hole door that is used on the agritractor isnt accesible from within the cab.The boiler for the agritractor is a type O. I have given John the drawings last weekend for the boiler and fittings.
