Default Cornish Steam & Country Fair 2017.

An enjoyable Rally on the Saturday, but Sunday I think perhaps the less said the better, but you cannot help feeling sorry for the organisers when the cars are not coming in the car park, just hope the costs at least are covered by what I was being told was a respectable crowd for a Saturday at Stithians having not been before have know idea of a normal crowd there.

A visit to Cornwall turned out to be a chance to say thank you to this gentleman for being a regular follower of my posts in Show reports and have a very pleasant conversation with him.

Saturday was a brilliant day financially, we must have parked 2000 cars. There were 600 in the overflow car park. Due to the weather Sunday had about a quarter of the trade of Saturday, which is a shame as Sunday is usually the busiest day.
I understand however that we expect to make a small profit on the weekend.

3031, 1908, new to L. Savory Surrey, went to March of Devon in 1918, then to Jesse Vines and on to Edwards of Swindon, a survivor of the gravel pitts. Now with Sam Henwood at his engineering works in Cornwall.....in a nutshell
