I understood that the registration "NO 5" had been sold some years ago to "Chanel' the perfume manufacturer. Yet steamboy's photos at Barleylands shows it on this Fowler ploughing engine. What's the story?

Looks as though engine numbers were up a bit this year. Used to be 100+ but gone down a lot since those days. Nice if it recovers a bit. Seems to be ever-increasing amount of trade stands nowadays.

yes it was sold and i think they gave the owner permission still to display at rallies because it is its orginal number and the engine has got another reg which its licensed for if that makes sense lol.
