Ahhh no they didn't. All the program had was what was on for the three days, where they were and sponsors.

I too went to Steamfest on the Saturday, what a breath of fresh air compared to the H&S restrictive UK shows nowadays. Engines were free to move to various points around the ground giving show visitors close access rather than just being left lined up to one side. The steam parade was through the showgrounds, very close to the visitors and exhibitors and many thanks to David for letting me steer his Marshall for the parade. Interestingly, as soon as the parade had ended, most of the visitors left, no swilling it up in the beer tent 'till midnight, there wasn't one!! A great show, lots to see and everyone was very friendly.

Here are my pictures, some similar to what has already been posted. (I think the engine numbers are correct, any corrections or additions gratefully received)

In Sheffield Tasmania, the small town where Steamfest is held, there are lots of murals painted on the sides of buildings. This one was by the place we were staying.

It looks like a road grader conversion.
Sorry this ended up in the wrong place.

It looks like we'll be going to Tassie in late August for our 5th wedding anniversary, (the wifes idea) will there be any steam or agricultural shows on then?
It was her idea for us to go to Dorset for our Honeymoon. I'm blessed....
Cheers Trev

There won't be much on then, most of the agricultural shows are around mid to late Spring and with the exception of the Hobart Show, all of the steam events are between Feb and April.
