Default Mid Shropshire Vintage Club 2015

The Mid Shropshire Vintage Club held its annual rally on Shrewsbury show ground as usual this year. The sun shone all weekend, Saturday being a little quiet, but busier on the Sunday. Here are a few pictures. (I'm sorry for the quality, but the sun is behind the engines all day.)

Hitched up ready to leave on Sunday night.

I'd personally like to thank Snail Trail for the invite to the rally. A big thank you to Doug Milns and Ian Cooper for their help on Friday evening sorting my road train out as I was not in a fit state (after spending the previous 10 days in bed with an infection, and really could have done without 18 miles of roading. Absolutely knackered!) Many thanks to my father for steering both ways for me. Also it was nice to meet SAC member Chris Cox who introduced himself and was very helpful all weekend, and who will be helping me again.

An enjoyable if not very tiring weekend.

Arial, put a picture up of the patented caravan drawbar.

Here is a picture I took on the Saturday.

Master Woodcock weting the road to stop the dust.

I visited on Saturday, and couldn't get over how quiet it seemed. Glad it picked up on Sunday. Some general pictures here: https://flic.kr/s/aHsk9YMwcb

Here you go Hedd. Not very good pictures I'm afraid as it's a bit dark in the shed. Not the smartest job I've ever done, as it was cobbled together on Thursday evening, but did the job none the less.

Pull out the safety clip, slide out the long bar and drop off the ball, and in 30 seconds it's back to tow behind the Landrover.

Thanks to all who attended, and to Doug as my stand in for the weekend.

I trust you all had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. Sorry I couldn't join you for the weekend - but that's brother in laws!!

I had a good run back from Devon which meant we cought the last few engines leaving and the Woodcock clan on the field.

Default Lady Hesketh

Heres a few pictures I took of Lady Hesketh heading for base after the rally. I was hoping to see some of the others leaving but I was stuck at a christening most of the afternoon.
