Default Blackstone engine

That looks like the engine that was in the back of Colin Gilbert's workshop when I worked for him, just wondered if it was?
Also can anyone tell me if he is still around, and if he is say hello to him from Clive Hiscock.
Thanks

Default Blackstone engine

I think you will find the Blackstone engine came from nearby Childwickbury estate, where it was used for pumping water.

This was David Philpot's Clayton & Shuttleworth No. 48154. We had just entered Redbourn village when we heard a whistle behind us and looking back we saw the Foster going round the roundabout onto the Redbourn bypass.
