Default Aveling and Porter 1911 7080 E5346 3HP 6ton 11cwt steam roller, living van & trailer

For Sale Aveling and Porter 1911 7080 E5346 3HP 6ton 11cwt steam roller, living van, trailer tools and patterns.

I am advertising this for the widow of an old friend. Please serious enquiries only.

This roller is one of a few small compound rollers left. It will fit onto a standard driveway and is neat and compact. Runs at 180 psi! Purchased in 1983 and rallied for a few years.

There is no boiler certificate as such as she was being worked up from cold inspection following a long and complicated overhaul because of cylinder block issues. Fitted with a new block, she comes complete with the pattern for the block, made at great expense. She has been pressure tested a number of times with the new block going on, going back to Gilspel engineering to be modified, heat treated and then back on again. It was after reassembly that life’s events took over and sale became necessary.

The living van, which has been completely overhauled, comes complete with coal in the rear lockers! The stove chimney needs installing.

The trailer has tools and side curtains, that have never been used, tube expanders, firing irons, valve packings etc.

Can be viewed at the Black Country Museum by prior arrangement.

Price for the whole (and items will not be separated): £50k ovno

Previous owners:

It Seems that the photo is not appearing in the advert. I have made a picture folder called advert which is public and inserted the photo in there.
